Hassan Foundation was founded to honor the life of Hassan Khan who passed just days before starting Medical School. The organization is unique in that it is run by volunteers . There are no employees in the USA and there is no administrative cost to the donors. . Every dollar that is donated goes into the charitable projects. To date the foundation has installed over 3100 Water projects across Pakistan. Currently working in the desert area of Tharparkar where 2103 water pumps have been installed in remote villages. The foundation is providing assistance to widows and over 200 orphans with the condition that they remain in school. Several schools destroyed by terrorists in 2009 have been reconstructed . Dar Ul Shafqat, boys’ orphanage in Lahore , Pakistan was completely renovated in 2011.
