Founded by a group of Muslim medical and public policy students from UCLA in the wake of the Rodney King riots who refused to accept that their neighbors lived in dire poverty with no access to basic healthcare, UMMA Community Clinic is a two location, full-service institution of primary and preventative healthcare services based out of South Los Angeles. Our mission is to promote the well-being of the underserved by providing access to high-quality healthcare for all, regardless of ability to pay.
