Children of Adam’s first project was facilitating food to the rough sleepers and homeless people of Peterborough. It came as a surprise to us how busy we became with this project and how much of a need there was and sadly still is out there. We have helped in handing out over 60,000 food parcels as well as clothing and bedding to those in need. Our goals are simple: to continue to work with those most in need both in the local area and around the world by distributing provisions for food, clothing, education and shelter. We continue to provide clean water and sanitation facilities, such as hand pumps and bore holes, in water-deficient and stricken areas. We are also sponsoring orphans and widows, supporting their physical and spiritual wellbeing, as well as families that have been directly and indirectly affected by conflicts and natural disasters. Children of Adam provides relief and funds used for the reconstruction of homes, shelters, Masjids, Education centres and medical facilities.
