السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ‎ Dear Brothers and sisters, we hope you are all doing well and inshAllah seeking to grab as many barakahs as possible in these 10 blessed days. The days that are most beloved to Allah (SWT) and are an amazing time to give charity because the rewards of your Sadaqah or Zakat will be amplified many times. The Prophet (SAW) said: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity.” {Tirmidhi} We are humbly asking you to generously donate to Andalusia Academy, Britstol’s only Muslim School. Your charity will be Sadqa Jariya. Every single time a child learns Salah, the Holy Quran and Islamic mannerism, you will be receiving the good deeds. WHY SHOULD YOU GIVE TO ANDALUSIA ACADEMY? You may legitimately ask this question. The community has really supported the school. But for now please allow me to elaborate on the strategic plans for the school that will lead it to become self-sustainable in coming years inshAllah. We are aiming that inshAllah these plans will lead to a platform to give back to community in coming years. But for now we need a kickstart to get back on our feet. So please read further and help us to help our children in Bristol Muslim Community. Our strategic plan for the next two years are based on the best outcomes for the children. Our mission is to create an environment for the children to grow as proud Muslims and to succeed in this world and in the Hereafter inshAllah. The money raised in this campaign will be spend on restructuring the school at many levels, that include: • Building renovation • Outreach Plans (for internal and external stakeholders) • Education: enhanced subject leadership across the school, teacher training and qualification as well as recruitment of experienced teachers • Behavioral/pastoral care and safeguarding improvements • Career guidance (apprenticeship programme, community input and alignment with university students sharing best practice) • Collaborations for extracurricular activities with different schools and projects such as Muslim Scouts. • Active Kid Fit Programme/P.E for primary school • Gardening and play areas The business plan for the school from these changes will make the school financially self-sustainable such as by creating: • Invest opportunities • Revenue from school building once its renovated • After Schoolclubs • Sharing services such as IT • Collaborations/partnerships with different stakeholders. • Offering classes for homeschoolers • Offering tuition opportunities If you would like to get involved in any of these campaigns then we will be very happy to take you on board. For further information, please feel free to contact our head of trustees Dr. Ghassan Nounu or responsible governors for business and marketing Dr. Sana Maqsood/ brother Abdul Razak
